Steadfast Code

Local SEO & GEO

Be the answer, on the map and in the chat.

When someone near you searches for what you do, or asks an AI assistant, I want yours to be the business that comes back, with the right phone number and the right facts. That is local SEO and GEO, and it is mostly patient, honest work: a tidy Google Business Profile, consistent facts everywhere, and content about real jobs that is specific enough to be worth quoting.

What it is not: auto-generated blog posts, bought links, or a dashboard full of green arrows that do not turn into calls. I have seen those tools up close and I don't use them.

Local SEO + GEO

$1,050 per month

For a business that wants to be the answer when someone asks an AI assistant, too.

  • Everything in Local SEO
  • Monthly AI-visibility check: what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews say about you and your competitors
  • Entity work: the same facts about your business on every source assistants actually cite (your Google profile, Yelp, directories, associations), structured data written into the HTML, and answer-first pages
  • Two content pieces a month, written to be quoted: specific, factual, and about real jobs and real questions
  • Earned mentions: local press, directories, associations and partners that assistants actually cite
  • Quarterly strategy call

What GEO actually means

Same facts everywhere

Your name, address, phone, hours, services and prices, identical on your site, your Google profile, the directories and the places assistants read from. Assistants trust what agrees with itself.

Pages that answer

Each page opens with the answer to the question it exists for, in a sentence a search result or an AI can quote whole, backed by structured data saying the same thing in a form machines read.

Content worth citing

Specific, factual writing about real jobs, real prices and real questions. Assistants cite sources that say something concrete; they skip the generic stuff.

Mentions that count

Local press, associations, suppliers, partners, the Chamber, review sites. The places an assistant finds you when it goes looking for who to recommend.

Measured by asking

Every month I ask the assistants the questions your customers ask, record what they say about you and your competitors, and show you the change. No vanity scores.

Readable by the robots

Correct HTML and structured data, not tricks injected by a script that AI crawlers never run. A robots policy that lets the search and answer engines in, and a site fast enough that they read all of it.

What a month looks like

  • Week 1: Google Business Profile updated with new photos, a post, and answers to any questions. Review replies written in your voice.
  • Week 2: One page or article, written with you, about a real job, a real price question, or a thing customers keep asking. Published on your site with the right structure.
  • Week 3: Citations and mentions: fix the directories that have you wrong, pursue one or two new places worth being listed.
  • Week 4: Technical check of the site, the AI-visibility check, and the report: calls, direction requests, form fills, rankings, and what the assistants said, in English, with what I plan to do next.

Questions people ask

Can you guarantee a first-page Google ranking?
No, and nobody honest can. What I can promise is that the technical side will be done right, the content will be real and useful, and you will get a plain-English report every month showing exactly what changed.
What is GEO?
Generative engine optimization: showing up correctly when someone asks ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews, Perplexity or Copilot for a business like yours. Most of it is good SEO done thoroughly, plus structured data, consistent facts about your business everywhere, and content specific enough to be worth quoting. I measure it by asking the assistants and recording what they say.
How do payments work?
Half to start, half at launch, by card or bank transfer. Monthly plans are billed on the first of the month and can be cancelled any time; the month you cancel is the last one billed. Pennsylvania treats some website work as taxable, so if sales tax applies to your project it is added on top and I will say so on the quote, never as a surprise on the invoice.
